From the time I was a child, I have felt an unshakable spiritual bond with Mother Nature and her plant medicines. The forests, flowers, and wild herbs have always spoken to me - guiding, comforting, and calling me into deeper remembrance. This lifelong devotion to Mother Earth and her wisdom is the heart of my work and the soul of Freja’s Magic Potions.

My path of devotion to Plant Spirit Medicines began long before this current apothecary. From 1997 to 2002, while living on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, I founded a women’s circle called the Sunshine Coast Goddess Spiral, where I held women’s herbal crafting ceremonies, Wheel of the Year celebrations, and seasonal rites honoring the rhythms of Mother Earth. These formative years rooted me deeply in the ceremonial traditions I still hold dear to my heart and practice today.

In 2002, this sacred work evolved into The Urban Shaman, my first herbal sanctuary, where I deepened my craft and connection with the healing intelligence of the plants. This path continued to unfold in 2006 when I opened Shakti Aphrodisiac Lounge on Commercial Drive in Vancouver - a beloved botanical haven offering sensual herbal-infused pies, blissful botanical smoothies, and third-eye–opening teas. Yet Shakti became much more than a visionary herbal boutique; it blossomed into a ceremonial space where women gathered at the turning points of the seasons for Wheel of the Year rites, herbal crafting circles, and feminine remembrance.

My deepest calling has been to gather women in sacred space - honoring the seasons, communing with the spirits of the plant medicines and awakening the Divine Feminine within us. Through Women’s Herbal Crafting Workshops, Wheel of the Year Ceremonies, Flower DIETAS, and intuitive healing circles, I support women in reconnecting with their inner knowing and the living intelligence of the plant realm.

My passion for the Goddesses has shaped much of my life’s work. I am currently writing "Plant Spirit Medicines & the Goddess," a book exploring the ancient relationship between divine feminine archetypes and the plant spirit world. Each ceremony, each flower DIETA, and each handcrafted medicine is a weaving of this sacred lineage - rooting us back into the mythic, the cyclical, and the ceremonial.

Today, I live on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, where I lovingly tend Freja’s Magic Potions, a boutique apothecary dedicated to blissful and consciousness-expanding herbal medicines. Choosing to honor Freja, the radiant Norse Goddess of magic, beauty, and sovereignty, is also a way of honoring my own Danish Viking ancestors. My devotion to her runs deep, and her presence infuses the essence of this apothecary.

Above all, I believe that when women gather in sacred ceremony - and when we commune with the ancient plant teachers of Mother Earth - we remember who we truly are. We reclaim our intuition, our creativity, our power, and our capacity for love. We become participants in the healing of Mother Earth herself.

May our work together be an offering to Pachamama, Gaia - to Mother Earth in all of her splendor! May each of us our own healing contribute to the expansion of the consciousness for the liberation of all beings.

Women carry within their cellular memory the ability to birth spirit into matter. I believe that the re-emergence of the Mystical Divine Feminine is a sacred response to help Mother Earth in her rebirthing process. As the Goddess reclaims her place in the realms of Mother Earth, she reminds us that all of life is sacred and has a divine purpose. The Priestesses of Mother Earth understand that she is the body of the Goddess, and when we wake up to our divinity, recognize the divinity of Mother Earth, expand our consciousness, and deepen our capacity to Love, we have the ability to co-create Heaven on Earth once again. Respect for Mother Earth is deeply interwoven with respect for the Divine Feminine, for she is the matrix of creation.

I offer my deepest gratitude to Mother Earth and her Plant Spirit Medicine Queendom. I truly believe these Ancient, Wise Master Plant Teachers hold the key to saving Mother Earth & all life upon her from extinction. As more and more humans are beginning to wake from their slumber these magical botanicals are here to support us in the global expansion of consciousness that is sweeping across our planet now.
