Step beyond the rush of the modern world and enter a sacred circle where women remember their ancient kinship with the healing plants. Aligned with the Wheel of the Year, these seasonal ceremonies honour a guiding Goddess and her sacred sabbat, weaving ritual, herbal crafting, and devotional song into living rites of remembrance.

At each gathering, we create blessed plant medicines together in a reverent, ceremonial way - and at the opening of the seasonal cycle, we craft a sacred herbal mead devoted to the Goddess of that sabbat. When it has ripened, each woman receives her own bottle, carrying the blessings of the ceremony into the turning season ahead.

We welcome you to our next Wheel of the Year Herbal Crafting Ritual:

 Ritual Crafting: Spring Goddess Mead
Herbal Allies: Damiana, Cardamom, Vanilla, Rose
Sacred Bee Medicine: Raw Organic Local Honey
Themes: Rebirth • Blossoming • Sacred Renewal

At the luminous threshold of Spring, when light and darkness stand in sacred balance, we gather to honour the radiant Goddess Ostara - She of dawn’s first glow, of blossoming fields and awakening seeds, of sacred renewal and tender rebirth. Through sacred invocation hymns, we will call upon the Goddess of Spring, honour the holy balance of the Equinox, and share gentle threads of divine feminine wisdom about this season of awakening, fertility, and luminous becoming. Within ceremony, we attune to these living energies of rebirth and blossoming, inviting them to awaken within our own hearts and lives.

This Ostara ceremony is both ritual and workshop: an immersive devotional journey where we enter a ceremonial container of song, plant communion, movement, and sacred medicine-making. Here, we remember the ancient priestess traditions of crafting herbal elixirs in reverence - singing blessings into the medicines, weaving intentions into each ingredient, and honouring the living spirits of the plants as wise allies on our path of healing and blossoming.

✧ We will Immerse Ourselves in a Sacred DIETA with our Plant Spirit Allies ✧

One week before our gathering, we will enter a gentle ceremonial DIETA with the sacred allies of our mead - communing in a devotional way with honey, rose, damiana, cardamom, and vanilla. A DIETA is an ancient and sacred practice of building a conscious spiritual relationship with plant medicines: listening, dreaming, and opening to their subtle guidance and healing presence.

  • Honey, luminous bee medicine, carries the golden essence of sunlight and flowers, inviting nourishment, joy, and sacred abundance.

  • Rose opens the heart to love and tender blossoming.

  • Damiana awakens sensual vitality and radiant pleasure in being alive.

  • Cardamom brings warmth, courage, and bright inner fire.

  • Vanilla offers gentle comfort, sweetness, and devotional softness of the soul.

During this week, we will gather for our first Zoom circle devoted to sharing our experiences with these medicines and setting our intentions for the Spring Equinox ceremony together, deepening our bond with these plant and bee allies before we meet in sacred space.

✧ The Sacred Mead Rite ✧

At the heart of our ceremony, we will craft a Spring Goddess mead together in ritual devotion. As each ingredient is added, we will sing, drum, pray, and weave our intentions into the living medicine - honoring the ancient lineage of women who prepared herbal elixirs ceremonially as offerings to the goddesses and as blessings for their communities.

  • Damiana for joy and sensual awakening.

  • Rose for the blossoming heart.

  • Cardamom for warmth, vitality, and sacred fire.

  • Vanilla for sweetness, comfort, and gentle devotion.

  • Honey - radiant bee medicine - golden ananda elixir

We will commune with these plant and bee allies not only through crafting the mead, but through gentle ceremonial tasting - perhaps as a tea or elixir - allowing their mood-lifting, heart-opening, and soul-awakening qualities to guide us into deeper connection with the season of blossoming.

This magical Spring Equinox ceremony for the Goddess Ostara includes:

• Sacred singing and invocation hymns to the Goddess
• Shamanic drumming and rhythmic journeying
• Intention setting and blessing of the medicines
• Guided meditation and inner renewal
• Sacred dance and intuitive movement
• Gentle stretching, intuitive movement, or rest
• Prayerful communion with the flowers, herbs, and honey

This is a ceremony of remembrance - of women as healers, singers of blessings, and keepers of sacred plant wisdom. By crafting this medicine together in a ritual way, we honour the priestesses throughout the ages who prepared herbal elixirs in devotion… and we carry their living tradition forward into this new Spring.

✧ Honey as Sacred Bee Medicine ✧

We will also enter into reverent communion with honey herself - ancient solar nectar, alchemical union of flower and bee, symbol of sweetness, nourishment, devotion, and divine feminine abundance. In many traditions, honey and mead were offerings to the goddesses and gateways to poetic inspiration, bliss, and heart-awakening joy.

To sip this golden medicine in ceremony is to remember the sacredness of life’s sweetness - and to invite more beauty, vitality, and love into the season ahead.

✧ Completion of the Sacred Arc ✧

When the mead has ripened, each woman will receive her own bottle to take home -

a living remembrance of our circle, our songs, our prayers, and the blossoming intentions infused within it.

✧ Sharing Circle & Feast ✧

We will close with a sharing circle and potluck feast, grounding the magic in nourishment, sisterhood, and joyful celebration of Spring’s return.

In our Sacred ritual and gathering we join a timeless lineage of women who have honoured plant medicines within sacred rites - singing, blessing, and crafting healing elixirs together in devotion to the goddesses and the turning seasons.

To take part in this circle is to step into an ancient stream of remembrance, where ritual, sisterhood, and living plant wisdom weave a magic that is both deeply ancestral and beautifully alive today.
